Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff! As our flight was cancelled, we thought, we need to stay another night. Jennifer, the manager, was very understanding of our situation. The room was very tidy and there was a fan and an A/C for warm days :) Thank you again!

NOT HOT WATER EVER! The property owner allows you to book but never tells you that most rooms do not have hot water. Shocking and unacceptable. Staff were wonderful but would not recommend a stay here due to lack of hot water and poor quality pillows and bedding.

We stayed two nights at hotel Vila Mira Mar. Both Nilsa and Melanie were very nice and helpful. They offered to store our luggage while we were away in Santo Antão, and they also made sure to give us a takeaway breakfast because we were leaving early. Communication with them was super smooth. As for the room, it had air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice.

Simply hostel, no kitchen, no cup, just a room. Clean but so so sad

I stayed in Vila Mira Mar for 4 nights as a solo traveler and it was amazing. Nilsa was so very helpful from the very first second: she told me all about restaurants, bars, local tips, places to see, etc. She made me feel at home from the very first second and she even prepared a nice breakfast for me to take away as I had to catch the ferry very early in the morning. All the staff was also lovely as well and the Vila is well taken care of and I already miss the amazing breakfast every day at the patio! Can't wait to go back!
