Ignore the Google rating, the food is really good! Outstanding quality for this price. The octopus/polvo was amazing!

love it here!! perfect ham and cheese toastie and really cheap, lovely staff and fast service, right next to the sea. plus next to where all the alugers wait.

Unfortunately, we had a "pleasure" dining in this establishment. First of all, we had to wait for our order for over an hour and it wasn't busy period. And food was already room temperature when served. More improtantly, we ordered fish skewers (pieces of different fish on a skewer) and domek of the pieces were not grilled enough- still chewy and pink on the inside, while gently seared on the outside. The staff tried to mitigate it by grilling again, but it didn't help the fish at all. We weren't satisfied with the service, but we still had to pay for the whole meal, despite eating only half of the pieces. Don't come if you don't know Portugeuse, manager doesn't want to speak in English.

If they have the dish you want, it’s probably good. Recommend placing your order the day before so it will be ready when you arrive… correction, order two days ahead of time.

Since many other restaurants in Paul listed in Google Maps are closed or do not exist any more, Valeiro is a good final option. A variaty of dishes is available on the menu (entrees, fish, meat, pasta, deserts), soups are delicious, tortilias are great (not the same as mexican). They also do takeaways. Do care that international credit cards are not accepted, bring cash CVE or EUR.
