We were a bit disappointed with the price–performance ratio. Pros: - Nice ocean view from the balcony - Friendly staff - Spacious room - Extra blanket provided on request - One of the best coffees we had in Cabo Verde - Rooftop terrace (good sunset view) Cons: - Blanket without a sheet - Very bouncy mattress. you wake up every time your partner moves (twin beds recommended) - AC was broken - Toilet door couldn’t be closed properly - Poor breakfast buffet (juice, eggs, bread, milk, muesli, no marmalade or proper spreads, “honey” was molasses) - Gym basically unusable - Rooftop bar doesn’t exist - Laundry service overpriced - Room cleaning staff not attentive. we left a note about an issue, no reaction

I haven’t stayed at the hotel - this review is about their restaurant only. I came for dinner around 6:00 pm on January 1 (it seemed to be the only restaurant open in town that day). Only one table was occupied, and there was just one bartender on duty who spoke very little English. I pointed to what I wanted on the menu, she nodded, and suggested I sit at a table. For the next 1.5 hours, nothing happened. I asked about my food several times and got a nod each time, but she clearly did not understand me. Eventually, a waiter appeared. He started taking orders from other guests who had just arrived, and I had to stop him and ask about my order again. After that, my dish arrived within 15 - 20 minutes. If I could, I would give this restaurant zero stars. On a positive note, the hotel reception staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful - they called a taxi for me.

Wow, this place is incredible. My favorite hotel of the whole trip, the sunset view is gorgeous. Perfect location right along the pier and easily walkable to all restaurants in town. Clean and modern rooms with good AC and comfortable bed, and the hotel staff was all super helpful and helped me arrange multiple taxis.

A very different place compared to the smaller hotels so far. Very modern with a large airy atrium, our room didn't have much of a view but since it was just a one night stop over, perfectly acceptable!

Best hotel i have stayed in cabo verde. The only friendly staff i found. Great views even if you have a side room. Super clean and the only good breakfast i got. Dont think twice Best quality price
