This hotel was absolutely great for the cost. We had taken our first trip without our teenage children. Lovely hotel, very peaceful and great gardens and pool area. Beautiful view. Our room was very spacious and serviced everyday, we also had pool towels provided of needed. There was always a lounger or bed to sit in at any time of the day. Breakfast was good and snacks and meals in the restaurant were also good! Our only niggle was the 80s breakup music on a loop! Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough we had a lovely holiday! Thank you 🙏

Avoid this hotel! The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, but the rooms are low quality. Very old decor with bits of the wall & ceiling filled in with filler. The air conditioning didn't work. There were exposed wires. Rusty handles. Bathroom shower water temperature was irregular. Bedsheets were old, unironed and they weren't changed regularly. Swimming pool isn't cleaned and hotel guests rarely go in the pool. We had to sometimes ask for towels. The manager says the rooms are fully booked and say they can change the next day, but it didn't happen. This was the same opinion of another guest. Hotel staff are generally nice. The breakfast is decent. The dinner is also good. The hotel food overall is good quality. Santa Maria is around 15 mins walk from the hotel. The road to the hotel is sandy. The environment around the hotel is like a building site. Santa Maria beach is 20-25 minutes walk.

We spent a week at the hotel. It is quiet, and our room was a highlight. We enjoyed the food. Only a 10 minute walk to town. There is a new manager who sets a great example -friendly, attentive and works so hard to make sure guests are happy.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Sal Island. The view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the ocean every morning was a highlight of my trip. The rooms were surprisingly big, very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island. The food was consistently good with plenty of tasty options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Their warm attitude really made the experience even better. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Sal Island. Highly recommended!

Bad smell of drains in our room and then sewage leaked from toilet over floor. We were moved to another room for one night while they fixed it but eould not moce us permanently. Still had a drains smell for the rest of our stay. Service and staff good. Hotel a bit tired but fine. Very nice pool and pool area. Beach in this location is not really suitable for sunbathing. Location 6 mins walk from a very good bar. Still gets 3 stars as it was a good price!
