I spent 10 amazing days at Kite Kriol and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! First of all, I want to thank the whole staff — they were always kind, smiling, and incredibly helpful. They gave me so many useful tips to improve my technique and helped me progress every single day. On my very first day, after arriving with all my gear, I realized I had forgotten my board fins at home. Without hesitation, they lent me a set of their own fins for the entire week, not asking for anything in return (even though they could have easily told me to rent a board from them). That really shows the kind of people they are. Every single day they were also there to help with launching and landing, always available and supportive. And I can’t even count the number of rescues 🤣 — always done with a smile! At one point I also managed to damage my kite — and Yuri repaired it quickly and professionally, saving my trip! Having someone so skilled and available makes a huge difference. The guys truly do everything they can to make sure you have an unforgettable experience with them. Thank you Yuri, Joke, Christian and Marcel! A special mention also goes to Bruno, who prepares delicious snacks and amazing cocktails to recharge you after your sessions. See you soon!

Awesome kite school! I just got back from spending two weeks in Boa Vista, and Kitekriol quickly became my happy place. My instructor, Yuri, was highly professional, patient, and supportive. He kept me safe, and brought dedication and high energy to each lesson. Yuri helped me overcome reflexes - both physical and mental - that were holding me back from properly steering the kite. He also taught me the value of patience, a virtue required for this sport. It was an honour to be in his presence. Truly next-level coaching! I was planning to try the first 6h of lessons there as a beginner. From what I experienced, the teachers at this school are on different levels and ages and from what I sensed, the younger ones are not 100% interested in teaching and giving you a secure feeling with the kite and equipment. In the beginning of my 3rd lesson my „teacher“ brought me to water with the kite very shortly and did clearly tell me what to do, especially when it came to navigating me with the kite inside the water. After 10 mins he just left me alone in the middle of the ocean, I had no idea what to do while I saw him on the little boat heading towards the shore. Found myself in the middle of the ocean, no clue how to follow him towards land, not my favorite moment. After 10 min he picked me up, still not really explaining how to do it. This was the moment I canceled the whole thing. Not only because of this moment in special, but because I felt it was one of many moments in ways this guy treated me that made me feel, he is not interested in teaching kite at all. Also
