Finally exactly what we were after. Good grilled meat and fish. Whatever you order, you are also served a simple delicious tomato and onion salad, and fries. Salt/pepper and spicy sauce on the table. Cheap, good portion sizes, friendly service, they've nailed the whole formula. Also great that they are feeding the dogs after. People who love dogs are 10/10

Amazing value for money and super authentic experience. The location is in a dark side street of Santa Maria - close to but not on the Strip. The people are really friendly but do not speak English - this is not a criticism just be aware. I would recommend ordering in Portuguese (the name of the dish is written on the board in Portuguese and English) They misunderstood our order, which is why my boyfriends food came long before mine. He has the red snapper which was TO DIE FOR!! And I had the sea Bream which was a massive filet and also super good. The wine was so/ so - I recommend beer But all the criticisms I have here can be easily avoided and you can have a 5/5 experience in this restaurant. We paid 40€ and it was so much good food that we almost could not finish it. Highly recommend

I had the best grilled octopus at this restaurant. It was tender, soft, fresh, and delicious. This place is truly amazing. It’s an underrated restaurant because it’s tucked away on the outskirts of town, but it’s definitely worth a visit. It may not look very inviting from the outside, but it’s worth going in because the food is fantastically delicious. 10/10

This restaurant is extremely popular! Despite reserving a table, we waited over 20 minutes. One good thing was that our orders were taken while we waited, which meant less waiting time once seated. We were salivating whilst waiting due to the aroma of the food being cooked. The food did not disappoint. The flavours created a party for the palate! My only issue was the portion sizes of the chips for 3 adults. It was in 1 dish, which was more of a single serving than a sharing serving. It's not good when you've saved yourself for a meal and waited longer than anticipated. Next time, we will try the shwarmas as we saw them after we ordered.

After a week in Sal, this was the worst eating experience. The food was good, except for the fries. There's no starters or desserts, just meat or fish that comes with salad or fries (worth asking for rice instead). The service is not great. We were three groups of people with a reservation who could not be seated. When one group complained, the waitress said "not my problem", while being the one that deals with reservations. You will be eating surrounded by dogs. You will wait a lot for your food. While we were excited because of the reviews, there's many other places that are much nicer.
