Been here a couple of times, this review reflects that given the different meals. The food is hit or miss, it’s either really good or extremely mid. Carbonara looked somewhat authentic from the description but tasted sweet as if there was some cinnamon or some spice of some sort in there, so wouldn’t recommend - 4.5/10. The burger was really delicious, comes with fries/onion rings and was probably one of my favourite burgers I’ve had - 8.5/10. (Does come with seeded cucumbers but seems that’s the only variety of cucumber on the island). The tuna pasta was another miss, all the milk/cream I’ve encountered is the UHT kind and you can taste it in any dishes like this if you’re used to drinking fresh milk so personally I’d rate this dish a 2/10 but if you don’t notice any distinction then you might enjoy this dish. The pizza here has been really good, maybe the best of the island though I don’t have much experience eating from other places but the pizza I’d be happy if I was served it in a place like London too, especially the chourico one - 8.5/10. Lastly, the lasagna was not something I ordered personally but it was apparently good and that’s from someone who also noticed the UTH taste, - 8.5/10 (lasagna lover so take with a pinch of salt)

We arrived at the restaurant at 330p first difficulty is communication no staff fluent in English as we are tourists. Second issue 4 out of 5 things ordered they did not have. Third issue took an hour and half to cook our order by the time we ate and finished we have been here 2.5 hours and the food wasn't good chef's spaghetti very salty and the steak wasn't appealing gave potatoes when salad was requested instead. Overall the restaurant needs better organization and communication between chef's and staff and a manager needs to be present. After all of this we aren't offered a free drink or dessert or anything for that matter and then we wait another 30 minutes for our bills even.

I really do not recommend this restaurant. We ordered two pizzas and waited for over an hour without receiving anything. The service was terrible — even the drinks arrived late. When we politely asked for an explanation about the delay, the pizzaiolo reacted aggressively, which was completely unacceptable. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at an Italian restaurant in Praia.

I waited more than ten minutes for the staff to take my order. They were busy rearranging the tables. I finally left without ordering since I was getting too hungry.
