WOW! Views stunning. Loved the eco pod vibe, very cosy and felt really private. The infinity panoramic pool is an incredible feature, could have swum all day staring out at the views! Good location for getting into other hikes and parts of the island, you’ll need a driver or taxi because the hotel is up a really steep mountain… this is what gives the incredible views!

The view is sensational, the privacy in the bungalows is outstanding and the food is phenomenal. The staff do their best to fulfil every wish, although with some of them there is unfortunately a language barrier. We also used the sauna, which took longer than expected to heat up (probably due to the bad weather), but this was handled very fairly in the price, and the view from the steam room is exceptionally beautiful! All of this is absolutely worth the challenging trip up from the coastal road to the hotel. We also had the chance to meet both owners – great guys who have created something here that is truly one of a kind!

We drove up by car. It was definitely adventurous and, honestly, felt a bit dangerous at times. The cabins themselves are very functional and cozy, with everything you need, but nothing special. They’re not particularly spacious either. The pool is probably the highlight of the place. Unfortunately, we had bad weather that day, so we couldn’t really enjoy the surroundings

Fabulous views from this lovely unique hotel. I paid to have them pick me up from Ponte do Sol. There were only a few of us staying at the time I was there, so I was hoping to have a relaxing time at the beautiful pool. Shame they let 4 youngsters (who weren't staying at the hotel) with blaring music use the pool that afternoon :-( After they left, calm was restored. Food was nice, portions a bit small, and not much choice for evening meal. Breakfast was standard, low season, so no buffet. The rooms are unique and I loved mine, but I think there should be at least some complimentary drinking water, a chair, a bin... and even a fridge would be nice as it gets hot in those huts! I managed to do a 3hr hike from here, but you are pretty much stranded if you don't have a vehicle, so a couple of days here is enough! Good shower with hot water, and staff helpful.

Amazing pool, friendly staff. All you can hear up there is the ocean waves crashing on the beach. I loved watching the birds while enjoying a drink. Good food. Nice rooms, but they're just a bit hot inside. We had to keep the door open while we were inside because it was like a sauna with everything closed. But we didn't spend that much time in the room because the surroundings are too nice to stay inside the room. There's a beautiful garden with lots of plants and an amazing view over the ocean from the bar/restaurant.
