Amazing place, Jason is the “host”, calm, peaceful, friendly, just like your best friend, that is at the same time, the best local food expert: take you to the see what he’s got that day in the fish/seafood window, and then try to do his best to get the meal of our lives: your personal taste, that suits with his long local expertise. He knows that land since he was a kid, and has on his side the best suppliers, to deliver the best experience. He even insist that the wine pairing for our request, should be “chã” Cape Verde wine, telling us that if we didn’t appreciate he take the responsibility. Was not Necessary at all, and all this, in two different days, two amazing meals (even surrounded now temporarily by hoardings). “Lapas”, “cracas”, the most famous one “tataki de atum”, and amazing “batatas fritas”, “lagosta” or amazingly fresh and tasty “goraz”, all this pairing with “chã” white wine. The food was amazing! Tuna tataki and tuna tartare are a must try. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful 😊 We will definitely return before we go 🙌🏻

We visited twice, and both times the fish of the day was excellent — fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. The prawns were also outstanding. Very friendly staff and an overall great experience.

What a special find. The Tuna Tataki is incredible and melts in your mouth. Tasty frites too. Excellent value - highly recommended. The restaurant fills up quickly so booking is recommended. Thank you for your good service Jason.

Best fresh fish 👍 Highly recommend. Prices are very good as well. You can’t go wrong with same day caught fish and a draft pint that cost 3.5€. It is far from a luxury restaurant dining, if that’s what you looking for, but if you looking for local character place with great tasting food, that is it…
