It's easily one of the best restaurants in town. We decided to venture further for a local dish, and we weren't disappointed. The chicken was well marinated and tasted like heaven. The staff and owner were friendly, and even with the language barrier, they tried their best to ensure that we were happy. The interior also has a nice vibe to it. We will try the fish next time

Really nice staff, fresh fish, locally grown chicken and nice capeverdian music. Really clean, cheap and cosy, I totally recommend!

A charming place where you can enjoy a wonderful meal made with fresh, local produce and accompanied by Capoverdian music. The place is (probably) run by a mother and daughter who take great care of their guests. Like most such places in Maio, the place is modest and very clean. I highly recommend it to all lovers of local flavors and atmosphere.

A lovely little restaurant with a local feel. Fresh fish, wild guinea fowl from the island, good music, and the girls who run it are very friendly! All this for one of the lowest prices around.
