We ate on a weekday so pasta was on the menu. Carbonara and tomato and basil pasta. The serving was huge, I was really full after eating the pasta. It was delicious. Since the Italian guy runs the small restaurant by himself after ordering in the counter he will give you your drinks. If you want to add let’s say your beer after drinking one, you could just go to the fridge and get one. I thought at first when we ordered I feel like the guy was grumpy since we don’t speak Italian or even portuguese. We tried ordering using google translate. Afterwards when all 6 of us customers at that time were served he would check on us how was the food and all smiles. We tried our best to say Italian afterwards. Nice small restaurant and delicious food. 😅

A local restaurant owned by a friendly man. When entering the place, you can find his own built miniature world. Do not expect high class service but sufficient enough to enjoy a decent meal. During our lunch visit, we could only choose between pasta pomodorro or carbonara. But for the price of 800 escudos, we had a lovely meal.

I loved it so much! Wonderful Italian chef with wonderful young friend creating absolutely fresh Italian food. Dedicated people with big hearts. I want to go again tomorrow and my daughter as well. And what is the thing with Italian people and kids? They generally love kids and it shows all over.

This is a special place. Saturday there is two types of pizza you can choose from, during the week it's two kinds of pasta. There's always a veggie option, that's good. However, there is no service, you have to get everything yourself from the fridge. The owner is not very welcoming either when you enter the door. The guests just help each other and explain the menu, how to get drinks from the fridge etc. Different concept, which is fine for me, but then I want take away prices. We paid around 9-10€ for one pizza which is a lot for what you get. The pizza is a 3/10 I would say, any frozen pizza from the supermarket is better. When we got the pizza 1,5h after we arrived, it was also quite burnt so you couldn't eat the crusts. All in all, a unique experience but too expensive and too little quality of the food. 5 stars for the miniature town he built to watch.

Only two pizzas available. The Capricciosa had a nice crust but a strange taste and smell with the egg on it. Maybe it was goat cheese as well. I didn’t like the pizza. The chef only spoke fast Italian to me and expected me to understand perfectly. We are in Cabo Verde.
