A very good, budget-friendly option for visiting Santa Maria, Sal. The rooms and the building are clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and helpful. Regarding the hot water problems mentioned in some of the other reviews - remember that although very touristy, Sal is still African and some things are different than in Europe. Because of how the hot water is stored, you need to wait a bit before getting to use it, which here is completely normal and mentioned by the owner when he gives you the keys to the room. I would recommend staying here rather then the hotels, because it gives you the opportunity to experience Sal more locally.

Local area with a street gym outside. When you check in, the door is closed, you need to ring the bell or call. The service was kind and the apartment good for the price. The only bad thing we had, it's that we didn't had warm water the all stay (4 days). Ask if your room has warm water, mine didn't had and I had read others with the same experience.

The staff are friendly. Breakfast is not offered. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. It could benefit from some renovation and updated furniture, but it is efficient and good value for money, even during high season. Much better than staying at a resort, as you are right in the center of the village, surrounded by genuine local life. The Wi-Fi is good for teleworking.

Great place!! Landa and Junior are amazing, so nice and thoughtful. Good apartments, very clean and right in the city center.

Livia Milena Residential felt great in the Cape Verde! This property is located in the heart of SantaMaria, making it ideally situated. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The property was greatly maintained, standing out with its cleanliness and attention to detail. Staff members were extremely welcoming, always ready informative regarding tours or restaurants. If you are looking for a well maintained and comfortable in place accommodation in Cape Verde, Livia Milena Residential is the one for you!
