Quinta Cochete has been one of our highlights in Santo Antao: Very friendly and forthcoming people, very nice house and rooms, amazing garden, super food [ and drinks ;-) ], and a perfect starting point for scenic walks. Thank you very much, it has been a pleasure staying with you!

All the other reviews are spot on: this was the most amazing place we’ve stayed during our holliday in Cabo Verde and deserves a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. The house itself is beautiful designed with a lush garden surrounding it, the rooms are naturally ventilated and they grow their own vegetables and fruits (+ have some small farm animals). Everywhere you look there’s a place to sit in the shade and enjoy the views of the mountains surrounding the house and the valley. The staff is very friendly and do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is just fine, the shared dinner with the other guests gives one the opportunity to connect with one another. We spend four nights and would have loved to stay longer! Unfortunately they were fully booked (no surprise). A must see place to spend some time when you’re in the area 👍

Stunning location, friendly staff, the best meals in Cape verde. The house is built with exquisite taste, totally blends in with this breathtaking landscape. They can accommodate vegetarians and have great yoga mats! Very comfortable beds, large rooms, high ceilings, great decoration. Very large and delicious breakfasts. The pool is also amazing. I have only but praise.

Set in a spectacular, remote valley, the Siwss couple owners have somehow not only built a beautiful site-appropriate retreat but landscaped the surroundings with traditional stone terracing. There is a small adjoining farm for fresh produce and the pool enjoys stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Beautiful gardens. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice and peaceful place. Beautiful garden with great views on the mountains. Maximum of 12 guests. Spacious house and rooms. Very friendly staff witch prepare delicious (France) food. They grow there own vegetables and have some cattle to. From here you can make short or long walks.
