I got a charming room here with a seaview. The hostess Danisia is very kind and was available for any questions. I felt very safe and comfortable here, and had a very good night sleep. Waves served as a white noise :) Keep in mind that there is not water pressure in the evening so plan accordingly.

Loved it! Very nice room, amazing views from the balcony, the lady took great care of us and her breakfast was delicius everyday. The room was clean and it's well located, you have buses on your doorstep and plenty restaurants nearby.

Great pousada. Found this place last minute. Amazing view, nice room, good breakfast. They also helped arrange an aluguer to Porto Novo for the ferry.

The house is inviting, simple, and tidy, with a magnificent view and the ever-present sound of the sea. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, spartan (so nice, but not cheap). Danisia is very kind and helpful, and makes every morning special with her charming smile and a delicious breakfast. My room, number 1, faces the back. I would recommend rooms 2, 3, or 5 (there isn't a number 4). Just a short, pleasant walk along the same seaside road leads to the center of Paul. About 200 meters away is the best/one of the best restaurants in Cape Verde—absolutely delicious. Danisia recommended it to me and will tell you the name. The restaurant is simple, but still waters run deep. The lovely terrace is also simple and beautifully colorful, creating a unique atmosphere. If you want to sit on the terrace with a sea view in the evening, you should make a reservation. There are only a few tables outside. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the pousada if needed, for those wanting to explore the island. Paul is a fantastic, sleepy place that's perfect for hiking. For €1 to €2, you can take a taxi colektivo (shared taxi) to Bareira Grande and then continue on to Ponta del Sol (you can also pay €20 for a private taxi). You absolutely must take a taxi to the crater (€30—one of the best rides of my life, incredibly beautiful) and then hike from the top down to Paul through the Paul Valley—absolutely amazing!
