The hotel is located in a quiet area with beautiful views. However, it's a bit remote, so we had to book an expensive taxi every time we wanted to start hiking. The room was simple but clean, and it was cleaned daily. The room was also very noisy. The pool and terrace are very small compared to the number of guests staying there. The communal area for breakfast and dinner is very uninviting. Breakfast is also mediocre and consists mainly of sweets. If we ever return to Santo Antão, we will stay in another hotel. It was not that bad but there is much room for improvement.

Pousada Green Place was a very pleasent surprise! It exceeded our expectations by far! Strategically located, shortening the distances by car to the island's main towns and trekking trails. The staff was very welcoming and kind and the whole mountain range scenario, the banana fileds, the Lush where it sits, makes Pousada Green Place a perfect place to come with family and friends!

Outstanding views, nice staff, good food, nice pool area. Being situated in the middle of a valley makes it harder to reach, but the views are amazing! Staff's English was not great, but decent. They're quite slow though, literally 😅, prepare to wait +1h on your food, even if there are no other guests.

Very beautiful place with amazing views. Rooms are simple, but clean. It has a decent little restaurant. Basic breakfast. Friendly staff and the owners speak some French and English. WiFi wasn’t working, but got fixed eventually on our last day.

Not only is this an amazing value, but the staff is extremely helpful, the room & restaurant are very clean, the pool is the perfect size for a cooling dip after a short hike through the jungle-like terrain, and the *complimentary breakfast was so bomb!!! This was an excellent stay! Btw...the owner's daughter is the beautiful Miss Cape Verde!
