We've just had a lovely 2 night stay here. Sia was very welcoming and helpful at all times. Flight was delayed and she organised a lunch to be made although it was late afternoon. It was the most delicious pork I have ever had. So nice in fact that I ordered again for dinner the next night. This is probably the best food in town. No menu but happy to make suggestions or exactly what you want. I asked for polenta rather than rice and this was no trouble. Breakfast was also nice. Bananas, bread, butter, cheese, jam, biscuits and papaya the first day, eggs the second day. Everything was spotlessly clean in the bedroom and restaurant. Would definitely recommend, the view from the terrace and restaurant is fantastic. Our room was quite big, bed a little hard and not much hot water but ok. Towels changed daily. Overall a wonderful stay.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. The view from the terrace is stunning. The owners are very friendly and kind. Last but not least, the home cooked food is incredible.

After a very long trip we arrived on Sao Nicolau on election day. Everything was closed so after hours of not eating and drinking we went to this place. She welcomed us, gave us a bottle of water and super nice food.

We didn't stay because it was just a bit outside of our budget, but the host was kind and gracious and even gave us directions to a pensao which she thought might suit our budget. The room and facilities looked super clean and modern, recently renovated and a pretty good value.
