Restaurant with a beautiful view of the sea and the black sand beach. Service ok. To drink a little something very nice. Did not eat because we were offered only a soup as a vegetarian dish.

Possibly the worst food i've ever paid for. The fish was ok, but the french fries soggy with old fat, veggies cooked to death, no hint of spices or even salt. The poor waitress gave her best, but unfortunately the bad critics are more than true...

The stuff was very helpful and friendly. Sadly they don't speak any english. We arrived there at 11am. We couldn't communicate what we wanted to eat. Just that we wanted to eat. They served us kind of breakfast. Coffee, omlette, bread, cheese and butter and banana. The omlette was great. And is was cheap. The view from the terrace is great. We came back a second time. We were there in mid may and the only guests.

The one star is for the view of Brava, the black beach and the old cemetery. We would only recommend going to their terrace for a drink. The food (we had fish) was bland with just garlic giving it a little bit of a taste.

This place has probably the best SEO in all of Cabo Verde; the keywords "ocean view" and "seafood" are everywhere. Service is great and with a lot of sensitivity to the diner's desire to have more/less interaction during dinner. Food was great: fish and chicken were well prepared and we got a surprise batch of rice with it. Maybe not your place if you're a vegetarian/vegan, because nothing on the menu suggested you could get something without beast. From the terrace you can see sunsets over Brava Island. The restaurant is also a reference point in São Filipe, so it's good to know where it is.
