We made a reservation through booking and when I called the day before, I was told that the accommodation was not valid. They only speak Portuguese and very poorly. Great uncertainty. Better stay somewhere else.

Unscrupulous host: The first night was okay, despite the noisy location. The room was fairly large with a shared bathroom (no washing socks allowed!). However, despite our reservation for the second night and our confirmation message, we were thrown out without even being able to leave our bags for a moment… appalling! Furthermore, this person will try to control your every move in order to seat their family or friends. Absolutely not.

The room was clean on the floor, but the wallpaper was peeling off everywhere on the walls. The owner doesn't speak English. Tour guides she'd called were waiting outside and were very pushy. We cancelled on the spot and found a different place to stay.

We had the room with a balcony and private bathroom. It was quite noisy at times, facing the street. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. The breakfast wasn't enough for us.
