Just dropped by for a drink as we were walking around the city in the afternoon. Everyone was very friendly, there is a security guy on the door so no one bothers you, the toilets are clean and the prices are good. If we back in Mindelo, we’ll pop back to sample the cakes.

A small, local coffee shop with great pastries and an excellent breakfast selection something for everyone. It’s a superb stop if you’re touring the island, as the Cultural Centre meeting point is just a four-minute walk away. Prices are very reasonable, and the food is consistently good quality.

Traditional breakfast of Cape Verde. The Nata surprises me for its good taste and it was served in warm. The quality is as good as the best nata in Porto. It’s a bit pricey for a local breakfast shop but it’s worthy to give it a try.

Been here 3 different times and all of them I enjoyed the experience and the CATCHUPA is good! I highly recommend it specially for breakfast if you like eating substantial food in the morning! The waiting time is okay and staff efficiency is average.
