We had a wonderful stay at Palmira House. The host greeted us as we arrived, and we felt very welcome. Jeida showed us to our room which was clean, bright and airy. Furniture was minimalist but functional and it gave the house a modern appearance. There were toiletries in the bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook your own meal. The AC worked great in the room. The breakfast was delicious with scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, yogurt, a bun of bread and fruit. The pool worked great and the water temperature was perfect. Even though is a bit out of town, it is only a 10min walk to the center of Cidade Velha, where restaurant are, and it is very safe and doable, even with kids.

The positive reviews are well-deserved. The house has been in operation for two years and is very modernly equipped with Starlink internet, a pool, TV, a kitchen island, and a washing machine. Geisa prepares a delicious breakfast every morning with scrambled eggs, toast, rolls, jam, coffee, yogurt, and fruit. She is a very warm and welcoming hostess who takes the time to answer all your questions. You feel welcome and comfortable from the very first moment. The location is perfect: very quiet, and the town center is just a short 10-minute walk away. Highly recommended! The owner's grandmother, a resident of Cidade Velha, is the namesake of the house.
