This was my second stay at Oasis Paul Residencial and I could not had been more satisfied. The rooms were very clean and functional. Staff were so friendly and helpful, just so typical of the locals of the Island of Santo Antao. Great beautiful views of the Valley and the bluest Ocean. Can’t wait to go back.🇨🇻🙏🏼

Highly recommend!! Marco and his mum at The Oasis are for sure the loveliest people you'll meet on Santo Antão. We stayed one night but it wasn't nearly enough. The welcome was so warm and such a pleasure after a long day walking down the valley. The rooms were just perfect, fairly priced, clean, so well presented and we would love to stay here again. Can't recommend them more A++ experience..

Oasis Paul was the most welcoming accomodation we've ever been to! The staff was very unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the room had a comfortable balcony with a view of the hotel's gorgeous garden full of breadfruit trees. Marco showed us some of the most beautiful places you wouldn't easily find on a map, such as a hidden spa you can lounge in. He was also nice enough to guide us to the other side of the island where we went mountainhiking above the clouds (and he even gave us a piece of delicious goat cheese from that area afterwards: tip). What I'll also never forget is how everyone at the hotel helped us when my girlfriend fainted during breakfast: everyone helped get her to a clinic, Marco's mother made some herbal tea that helped which she picked from her own garden and even the lunch lady made some rice soup and safeguarded the items we left at lunch. We were very moved by how helpful and empathetic everyone was. So if you want to experience morabeza/hospitality, this is the place to be! P.S. For an interesting experience have a meal at the Italian's across the street, you won't hear a word of English but you'll have delicious pizza and a fascinating conversation!

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and cool oasis. In the middle of the little town. They don't serve diner; they gave us some good advice for a nice restaurant. Breakfast was good, but minimalistic. Picnic without much fruit.
