Cozy environment with spectacular sea view. The cooked fish of the day is fresh and delicious which is in generous portions and reasonable price. The sauce of the seafood rice tastes nice but the seafood quality has room for improvement, shrimps are too small and many shells of shrimp can be found in the rice. Two person having the two dishes, a glass of martini and a 1l bottle of sparkling water just costs us £24。Overall good dining experience.

Best restaurant we have been in Ponta do Sol. Came back several times and the overall rating is too low. Yes the tuna is often overcooked but is how the tuna is cooked in Cabo Verde. Ask to have it less cooked before ordering.

The best lunch we had i Ponto do Sol, so not sure where the low rating is coming from (maybe from long ago). We had chicken curry and asked it to be with salad and also grilled chicken. Both were very good. Coffee is also better than elswhere.

Amazing view over the sea and fishing boats. Friendly waitress. The fish we ordered was way overcooked and dry, but after mentioning we got a new portion of fish which was slightly better. Better to try something else. There are some local cats strolling the place, which we liked, but you might not when you don’t like cats.

This place was perfectly fine after our hike. We arrived to Ponta do Sol at 4 30 in the afternoon, we looked for something else given the bad reviews but nowhere else was open between lunch and dinner, so hunger took over and can happily say that although VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is (we all got starters or “fast food”) this place was FINE
