We had breakfast here (cachupa was very good!) and returned for dinner and live music. The seafood dishes were great, the service was attentive (despite the long wait time, which seems to be a norm here). Definitely recommend!

Very helpful waiter who speaks English and can help with any questions. I came early (kitchen opens at 6pm) so stayed and had apéro (olives and local cheese) with a huge glass of Portuguese red wine (delicious). Had the typical dish of Cachupa, enough for 2 people it was so big, very tasty! Other people in the restaurant had prawns or lobster, everything looked very fresh and good. Hope to come back to also try the lobster!

We came for for dinner a few days ago. we got the soup (i believe it was vegetable soup) vegetarian tempura and goat cheese. the vegetable tempura was not as good as I would have expected it, there was apples, goat cheese, carrot and some other ones. it was good, but would not get it again. the goat cheese itself was delicious, but also not something i would get again. the soup was a regular soup. I think in the evenings they have some kind of music performance, so it is a nice place to come by. a little bit expensive for mindelo tho.

Came for a quick snack, went for the tempura shrimps. Soggy, awful taste and when peeling the 'tempura' part we noticed the shrimps were very dark, unusually colored. Also they didn't remove the inside of the shrimp which is pretty basic knowledge in a restaurant, let alone in a coastal town I'd assume. And the best part: we paid almost 20 euros for 6-8 pieces. Waiters were nice but that's about the only good part...

We loved our food and experience here. We had the cachupa which is always a joy to eat. Good quality, portions and simple but caring service. We arrived quite late for dinner and we were welcome without reservation, and maybe also given the non-busy time, the service was quick and efficient. We loved the live music in the background and the outdoor space in the inner yard.
