Had a great experience eating the famous African pasta. Service amazing. Good English. Easy going. Arrived shortly after 7 and were served promptly with ice cold beer. Great drink choice as they also run a mini market.

Easily some of the best spaghettis we've ever had! Freshly made with herbs directly from the backyard. Wonderful host with huge knowledge about herbs & plants. Thanks for showing us the benefits of moringa! An absolute insider tip.

Fantastic dinner! Mariama was very kind... she showed us the herbs with which she prepared the fabulous African pasta for us. A must do!

The food was delicious and the service was great! Lovely woman who speaks good English. The African spaghetti was full of flavour and very nice.

The best place to eat and hang out in Maio! Everything that Mariama cooks is just delicious, fresh and authentic. She adds herbs from her garden, like Moringa, so the dishes smell fantastic and are super healthy. There are vegetarian options. The place is always lively and filled with local people, and Mariama herself likes to sit and talk together with guests. She likes to go to bed early, so best plan your meal before 8 pm :) and be sure to try African Pasta!
