Food was very average, not high standard. French fries were soft and too fat. Staff works very inefficiently, run around empty handed as abandoned tables can be cleaned. Besides this they forgot their friendly faces the evening when I was there. You receive a handwritten receipt which you can pay by pin. The extreme presence of LEDlight scares every attempt to create a warm atmosphere. If you can skip this place, I would say: go somewhere else.

Loved the hospitality of this place. I arrived at 6pm, the waitress who is learning French helped me with my choice and was very helpful, as was her colleague. Food nice, lobster delicious! Wine good, choice on menu good. There were 2 musicians from early evening. Super sunset from the window. I hope to go back for the octopus!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! This restaurant is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. As a family traveling with a toddler, we were amazed by how welcoming and accommodating the staff were. It’s rare to find a place where both kids and parents feel equally at ease, but they’ve mastered it here. The food? Simply unforgettable. Every dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Without a doubt, the best meal we’ve had since arriving! Although we didn’t catch the live music, it’s a fantastic touch for those who enjoy dining with entertainment. The atmosphere was still lively and warm, making it a perfect spot for both families and couples. Highly recommend—this place deserves more than 5 stars!

My most enjoyable spot thus far in Mindelo, staff is very attentive, but also respectful of space and knows how to read the vibe of their guest. Beautiful views, and the Marisco was very delicious and fulfilling. I look forward to returning.

Amazing quality and great value for money. You get excellent food, sea view and friendly service (and live music if you're lucky). If you want to do a lobster night, this is the place. The tuna belly was also incredible. A bit puzzled by some of the other reviews, we went once for lunch and once for dinner and both times it was excellent.
