Wonderful aparthotel with wonderful apartment rooms with wonderful views. The staff team are very courteous and efficient. Las Rochas's location in the small town of Lazareto is ideal. It is only a few kilometers from downtown Mindelo, accessible by either taxi or a pretty beachfront walk. Walking on the road going uphill outside the hotel takes you above pretty, rocky coasts , and there are a few paths and trails both above the coast as well as upwards towards some tall, rocky mountains. There are some small forests off of some of those trails also.

Had a beautiful stay at Las Rochas! The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, and the location offered the perfect balance of peace and proximity to the city. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Sao Vicente!

Overall, the apartment and the building were nice. It is out of town but only a few minutes by cab. The breakfasts were a bit inconsistent with availability of items but staff were pleasant and omlettes were available upon request. For the price, it was reasonable. Being early April, the pool was rather cold and the beach front is elevated and set back from the water; so not close to the water.

Amazing hotel with great rooms, 5 min in taxi from the city so you can nicely relax and see all panorama. Very nice people work there, for sure good place to come back ☀️
