Great rooms, great service and great view. They Eco lodge is a great place to relax and explore the island of Fogo. Price with a Taxi to/from São Felipe or the airport is 1000 CVE. Don't let you overcharge by the taxi drivers. There is also great hike which starts at the Ecolodge.

The La Fora Ecolodge is up in the hills, with a fantastic sea view. The green terrace and pool are very chilled and lovely areas to read a book, drink a coffee or simply enjoy the view. The dinner is tasty - a three course menu - and comes at fair value for money. The breakfast is rather simple, but completely sufficient for my taste. We have enjoyed the stay a lot.

Great place and concept - whether you stay just to chill at the pool, for work remotely or to explore Fogo Island - I did it all in just 5 days! 🤩 The staff is super-friendly and hosting and the bungalows are very comfy (I was staying in bungalow no 6). Unbeatable the dinner of 3 courses for less than 15.000 CVE. I guess the pictures speak for themselves…

I absolutely loved my stay at La Fora!! The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great with vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast, tapas and dinner. Beautiful surroundings, bird watching (king fishers regularly visit the pool), and the pool deck is so serene and gorgeous. Highly recommend.

The eco lodge is AMAZING! With spectacular scenery, immaculate landscape and views for days!! The owners are hands-on, very friendly and accommodating to ensure a great experience. Our stay was so relaxing it was like an oasis in the middle of paradise. Breakfast is included with a wide variety of options. Dinner is optional but as it is prepared daily, with local fresh fish, and vegetables, we ate at the lodge every night; which also gave us the opportunity to enjoy the restaurant/bar patio and picturesque sunsets. The staff are friendly, attentive, and work hard to keep the guests comfortable! Much admiration to the owners Ellen and Aaron for practicing an sustainable environment /property and giving back to the community.
