Great location on a beautiful beach in Mindelo. We can't rate the food because we didn't order any... Just drinks. The mocktail mojito was delicious. Walking distance from the cruise ship port, WiFi offered (not the fastest however) and lounge chairs on the beach as well.

Its located on a beautiful place, but the visit left a bad aftertaste. We decided to have some snacks with our drinks and ordered the chicken wings. When we tried them the inside looked grey and purple. It also smelled a little fishy. We decided not to eat all of the wings, but I got sick anyways. Servers were very friendly but the people should make sure that the food they serve is save to eat.

Great swimming beach with clear, blue water and fine, white sand. Rent your lounge chair and umbrella at the club (5 Euro per lounge chair for 4 hours) and enjoy the good cocktails. The caipirinhas were cheap (3 Euro) and good. The servers are friendly. We spent 4 of our 10 Mindelo days hanging out, reading, and swimming here. Heads up: the water is very calm, but gets deep within only a meter or so from the shore.

We visited the beach bar twice and were refused service both times. One afternoon we tried to order Caipirinhas and were told no. Later, before our flight, we came back for a drink and were again refused because it was “too early.” Very disappointing experience and poor service. What’s the point of having drinks on the menu if no one is willing to make them?

The only actual beach bar in Mindelo. You can rent the chaise longues and a parasol for 500 escudos doe 4 hours. They have plenty of drink options including Jon-alcoholic ones for a discount (try the 0,0% caipirinha). Friendly staff. Nice location. Didn’t they the good so can’t judge that - but I don’t recommend the coffee.
