Iconic place! We were some of the first seated in the evening when the music started. A couple of hours in, the place was packed both seated and standing all through the streets! A really cool place to have a drink and enjoy the talented performers!

Excellent caipirinha (the best I have had in Mindelo!). Good ambiance. Only negative is the servers, they could be more friendly! Only drinks. No food.

Great bar with live entertainment and outdoor seating. Try the Estomperode drink to experience a true Cabo Verde cocktail. Strong drink!

We planned our last evening in Mindelo around an evening at the bar. We called round at 1700 and the bar staff were preparing for service but not open. We called back at 2000 hours to find the bar closed and a padlock on the door. This is not what the advertised hours are. Thanks for ruining what we hoped would be a chilled and enjoyable last evening in Mindelo.

It's a good place to listen to some local cape-verdean musicians and have a drink. Has a good mix of locals and tourists.
