A beautiful place to stay in Sao Filipe. One of the staff members, an easy going guy (unfortunately I can’t remember his name) organized a tour for us to hike the volcano. Thank you!! Only one thing: please get a better Wifi :)

Definitly my hotel recommandation if you stay in Fogo. Very kind service, rooms were clean as well as the small pool. Breakfast was held easy, but it had everything. And they made us omlettes as well. Just ask them ;) they also washed our clothes. And its placed really central. Within 5min walks you find awesome restaurants like Tropical, Zebra and many small marketstores. You reach the beach by walking within 10minutes. Good wifi connection.

We had a really nice stay here. The hotel is well located, right in the center of the town and close to the beach (where unfortunately you can’t swim). Very good restaurants just a few minutes walk away - one right next door. There is a small courtyard with a pool where you can sunbath all day. The breakfast is typically for the country, simple but very good. Our room was spacious, with air condition. We would come here again in heartbeat!

We stayed three nights in hotel savana and have only wonderful things to say. We arrived later than expected and still received the warmest welcome. The 24 hour reception makes it easy for visitors to ask questions or get recommendations for the island. The breakfast was also wonderful (they even packed us a to-go breakfast when we left early in the morning to hike Pico do Fogo). You can buy bottled drinks and enjoy them on the most beautiful balcony overlooking the city, the sea, and Brava island. The rooms were simple, clean, and a great value. Most of all, we appreciated the help to organize last minute transportation and tours for a fair price. Best of all, we could even walk safely from the airport to the hotel on a nice sidewalk :-)

A lovely hotel in the middle of Sao Filipe. It is not modern, but very charming. There is a pool and you can eat breakfast by the pool. The owner is French and he is very helpful snd service minded.
