The hotel is ok when you know what you are getting. Knowing it's run down wich is a shame. Still can use pool facilities. Rooms are ok. Something to hang wet towls on terrace would be nice. Staff at desk one lady was super friendly all the rest can be serious. Slow and not understanding. Cabo Verde standard service...... Location is ok 10 min walk to Porto novo port. If further need a driver or car.

Good location Near the ferry pier . Car park have enough parking if you rent a car . Inside the room don’t have WiFi ! If you need good network to work maybe not suitable for you . No lift if you have big luggage just only can walk by stair . Lobby a bit dark and always full of tourist for internet .

Very bad value. 90€ is a lot of money for a pretty bad hotel. Get a b&b or a local airbnb instead. No WiFi in the rooms and location was not accurately depicted on booking. The hotel is much farther from the port than one would originally think, about a 20min walk.

Had a great tour today with the tourguide! Visiting santo antão full day was a great experience we, witnessed some of the great places Santa Antão has to offer. It captures a lot of vieuwpoints and brings you to little villages on the island and the left-overs of a jewish synagoge. Great trip and thank you!

Excellent and very friendly staff, dinner at the hotel was great with few options. The hotel is very large and made us feel both safe and welcomed. The pool is maintained and the grounds are well kept. There is a beautiful garden as a bar seating area and covered terrace. The ocean just a step across the street makes it a very relaxing stay. We kept the patio door open to hear the waves all night. For breakfast there is a Panini maker, eggs, sausages, hummus and tons of different types of local jams, breads and cakes the breakfast was good and included in the stay. Overall this has the feel of - The Grand Budapest hotel as we were one couple of maybe 10 at the grounds. It was very quite and made a magical experience for us. I would give this 5 stars every day. There is the port close by and can be walked to and from where you can find collectivo (cabs) to take you across the island and show you experiences.
