A list of the most relevant things to know about this hotel: The reception person isn’t cooperative, speaks very low, can’t handle public speaking and their job is to tell customers that there’s nothing they can do about the problems. We arrived at 17:00 and the dinner time was at 20:00 only. We asked if there was a piece of fruit or a glass of water we could have while waiting for dinner. They told us even a glass of water would be paid for. The bed lining had dark fluid stains. We reported that and they accused us of not having opened the bed when we arrived at the hotel. They also said they couldn’t solve the problem until the morning and that we should sleep on the dirty bed lining. After that I suggest we be relocated to another room and after 2 or 3 refusals they accepted that option in the end. The second room also had stained bed linen but not as much and we were tried so went to sleep. The 4 towels (from the 2 rooms we were in) all had stains and one of them had holes in it. I went to the reception to ask for at least 1 clean towel for 2 people to share. They said they couldn’t and I was already tired so I just picked the less stained one. The water from the shower comes out of the WC and into the bedroom. The phone in the room doesn’t work.

Although the location of this hotel is fantastic, I strongly advise against staying here. On the first day of my stay there was jackhammering in the morning. The hotel is not maintained well (see broken and damaged fixtures attached). The mattress is too hard and my hips hurt sleeping on it even though I stayed in the most expensive room. The furniture was uncomfortable. The aircon is noisy. The internet is unusable. And the breakfast sucks. My room key was blocked twice for no reason and they deny me taking a guest to my room. There are very nice people working in this place, bless them. But this is a bad hotel.

I would like to share my experience with this hotel, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for a specific reason—what appears to be a lack of commitment to customer experience and assistance. I must commend the professionalism and kindness of the receptionists at both Santa Maria and Deluxe. However, I encountered challenges with the hotel's management, which I found to be unprofessional. I had initially planned to stay for two nights before a scheduled trip. Unfortunately, my travel plans changed within the first day, and I realized I couldn't stay the second night. I approached the hotel management and politely explained my situation, requesting a refund (second night). Regrettably, I was informed that there is a no-refund policy, and there seemed to be no willingness to assist me. I'm uncertain if this experience had any relation to my status as a local immigrant, as I felt a lack of respect in their approach. It is my belief that, had the situation involved a Portuguese guest, a resolution might have been found and readily. I travel extensively to Cape Verde and other countries, and I have had the opportunity to stay at various hotels. I can confidently assert that there are many other hotels in Praia with superior management and a more favorable customer experience. This was my first experience with this hotel, and I am hesitant to consider future stays. I hope this feedback contributes to improving customer relations and experiences.

Reception staff are not qualified to deal with miner complaints always have to consult other members behind reception and rude. Restaurant food is bland with same mundane selection. The best thing about the rooms are the showers if you don't mind sharing rooms with cockroches. Regardless of what this hotels is rated its definitely a 4 star, beach is not looked after. Tui staff at this hotel are not in touch with reality of what the visitors needs. For a newish hotel it's very badly kept. To sum it up not a very good holiday strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

The restaurant looks pretty well. When we sit down waiters put a menu for us. We ordered two beers. When we wanted to order food, he told that the kitchen was closed already. To offered menu ,he didn't warn us about time that the kitchen would soon closed. Moreover we tried to order in 3 min that another table has dove their order. Even we protest that was ridiculous, the kitchen refused to take the order. We were sitting and drinking beer and looking that from the kitchen went the dishes like fry shrimps and after 20 min went two dishes more: meat and fish. It was over our disappointment. To bad service and honestly say stupid and not logical treatment of clients.
