There might be more lovely places. The Paul Mar feels more like a business hotel. However you sleep next to the ocean, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is OK (it was ready always a bit too late though). A bit more passion of the housekeeping would improve the cleanness.

This rate takes into consideration the universal difficulty to build infrastructure in the village of Paúl as a whole. But there is a lot of things to improve upon: television with bad reception and only three channels, no telephone in the room, wifi only at the reception and a very simple breakfast. Still: clean, comfortable and with an unbeatable seafront view and great location. The hotel restaurant Veleiro II was the best feature of all. Freshly prepared absolutely delicious seafood meals have spoiled us every night after the long hikes.

This was a quick lunch break during a car tour. Location is nice with seating outside by the ocean. Service was rather lacklustre and menu and food okay. Fine for a quick bite but perhaps less so for a main meal.

Directly at the sea, the perfect location to visit and hike "valley of Paul" and most of Northeast spots of Sao Antao. Large rooms with A/C. In front of taxis and aluguers station.

Only went to the restaurant and they have really good “fish of the day” .
