Excellent stay overall. I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, and one of them named Rosana is professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient and makes it easy to get around. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would be happy to stay here again in the future

The staff are lovely, the hotel is well placed for Praia and sightseeing. We stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the sea! The pool is great for swimming and there are two beaches adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast is excellent and abundant. There is a choice of eating areas overlooking the pool or sea. Overall, it’s a very peaceful and relaxed place to stay on the island.

Unfortunately, our stay at Oasis Praiamar Hotel has been extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been consistently rude and unhelpful. We had a leak in our original room and were moved, but the problems didn’t end there. The hotel is nothing like the pictures online — it is very outdated and poorly maintained. The bathrooms are particularly bad: yellow-stained toilets, broken toilet flushes, and a strong smell of urine. These maintenance issues were all reported to reception, but nothing was properly resolved. Hygiene is a serious concern. We found mouse droppings in the breakfast area, and there were cockroaches present, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one serving food. Facilities advertised by the hotel are misleading. The gym area is non-functional yet still advertised, which adds to the overall feeling that everything about this hotel is falsely represented. Around the hotel there are clear signs of neglect: broken pool loungers, no ice available, and rude behaviour from staff at the poolside as well as in general areas of the hotel. We also spoke directly with the manager regarding these issues but were offered no solution. The response was dismissive and completely lacking in concern, which was extremely disappointing given the seriousness of the complaints. On top of this, our sleep was interrupted due to loud hotel maintenance noise, which is unacceptable for a place that is meant to offer comfort and rest. Overall, the hotel is misleading, poorly maintained, unhygienic, and the level of customer service is extremely poor. I would not recommend staying here.

Disappointing Stay: Maintenance, Service, and Dining Failures Where to start? This stay was frustrating. Room Issues & Safety: Positive is the very nice employees. But: • Our first room one window was burst. • We were moved, but the "sea view" in the second room was completely obscured by overgrown vegetation. • A safe was out of order, and our repair request was never answered. Frustrating Service & Dining: • Service was nonexistent. We waited an unacceptable 1 hour and 30 minutes for dinner, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. • A bottle of wine ordered for the room never showed up. Uncomfortable Amenities: • Even the pool area was uncomfortable: the sunbeds, with un-bent bars, were painful on the back and bottom. Verdict: failures in maintenance, upkeep, and customer service. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Ok hotel. Rooms variable, the updated ones with sea views are great. The Panorama restaurant serves good fish. Breakfast buffet is excellent, wifi is strong.
