Excellent for travelers in transit, with the airport nearby, or for classic travelers, for normal people with a certain maturity and tolerance. Those traveling in "tourist mode" will surely find fault with unrealistic expectations. It's Palmeira, and La Vela is not a resort. Ideal for getting a first taste of the real Cape Verde, not the one sold by travel agencies. Decent service. It's fine for me. Thanks.

We stayed for four days. The price/quality ratio is not adequate. Charging €1,200 per month for a room without even a kitchen, plus €300 per month if you want air conditioning (without it, it's impossible to stay in there), I don't fully understand. On the other hand, the room was infested with ants, so we couldn't leave food anywhere. Finally, and based on experience after speaking with several taxi drivers in the area, the price to the airport is 1,000 escudos, and the hotel asked us for 1,500. Anyway, at least we won't be back.
