Great hotel with excellent service. The rooms are neat and clean. We really enjoyed the junior suite. The food in the restaurant was okay, but I think the quality of the produce used was not constant. Some days were diffinitely better than others. The fish was delicious, the meats of a lesser quality. Portionwise the meals were very satisfying. The pool was pleasant and kept top notch clean. The hotel is close to the beach. The walk takes five minutes. Also the township of Santa Maria is but 15 minutes walk away via the beach promenade, which begins just behind the hotel across the road.

Used easyJet package for a trip to Cape Verde. Transfers were efficient. The hotel, Dunas de Sal was lovely. A very small hotel but with large clean rooms serviced everyday. Food was good and the staff very efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Super nice hotel. It’s really clean & very quiet. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights, breakfast included and we liked that everyday they had something new. Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully we’ll see again.

Nice building, but service is marginal. You can stand at the desk while the staff do something else for quite a while. Rooms are very bare. Pool is nice.

Lovely small hotel only a few minutes walk to the beach and about 10 minutes walk to the centre. They are taxis around if you need. Hotel is lovely and clean, rooms are made every day, staff are friendly. We upgraded to a superior room and got a kettle, safe , mini fridge, and a lovely balcony. Breakfast is simple and nice. There is a live cooking station for eggs, availability of juice, tea coffee, local produce, fruit, cakes etc. we are out every night loads of restaurants and tried all the local food, including fish and all the seafood. The local beer and local drink grogue is lovely too.
