DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The worst customer support I have ever experienced. A litany of failures, incompetence and carelessness from the staff: - It took us 45 minutes to check in, when there were two people serving at reception and only one other person trying to check in - We did not get the room we had booked, but a smaller one without a view and were offered no refund. When we asked to have a different room, we were told the hotel was full, despite being able to find and book rooms online. - The electronic lock on our door was broken, and when we asked reception to fix it, they said it would be done the next day. When we checked with them the next day, they "hadn't written it down" so we had to queue up at reception again to ask once more - Wifi was only available in the bar or reception, not in the rooms - The shower in the room leaked - The fridge in our room was never replenished with water, or anything else for that matter - The TV in the room offered one very fuzzy channel of only sports - The phone in the room didn't work - A spa is advertised, this was closed for our entire stay without any signs or announcements, even when we booked - The changing facilities at the pool were not finished, however we were remanded by security for walking around in our swimming gear - The 15 minute walk into town, although not long, is not one you would want to do at night, due to the surrounding area, and the hotel is atop a large hill, so be prepared to pay for taxis - Breakfast is supposed to be served from 7.30, however if you arrive at 7.30 it is either not open (literally the door is locked) or the food and drink hasn't been laid out - Also at breakfast, the tables are never cleared, and replacement food and drink is only brought out if you ask the staff, and even then sometimes not - We had paid for breakfast as part of our booking, but were still asked 3 times to pay upon arrival - After waiting 30 minutes at dinner, was told the dish I had ordered was not available, then had to wait another 30 minutes to the second dish I selected to arrive. No discount or refund was offered. - The pool bar was open one day out of the 8 we stayed - Upon deciding to leave a day early because service was so poor, we tried to get a refund for the difference in price between the room we booked, and the room we were given. We discussed for almost an hour, during which time the manager would not speak to us face to face, but only through one of the reception staff, and we were not given a refund but told to raise a complaint with the website through which we had booked

A marvelous day at the pool! nice price for the pool and lunch, that included variety to choose, dessert which i loved, and very nice people serving!

We had four nights stay in this quiet and lovely hotel. People say that its far but thats not true as the island is rather small.

A lovely hotel overlooking the city. Magnificent view, great tranquility, and a taxi will take you to Mindelo city center for €2 in under 10 minutes (although there's always a 10-15 minute wait). Incredible staff, especially Rams who helped us organize our trip to Santo Antão... an indescribably beautiful island! You absolutely must visit! Note that the rooms are dated, as is common in Cape Verde, so don't expect luxury.
