Nice lively place were also locals eat, and where they play a lot of Cesária Évora music :) Lamb with onion was really tender. The portions are large. Very good price-quality ratio. Some waiters speak english, some don't but are still very attentive.

Lovely spot, Food was tiptop. hats off to the staff who had the busy Sunday brunch service on lock. Juice of the day was real good. The portions, while imaginative and delicious, are not huge, so if you're starving get some sides. seating is tight, but that won't stop me from returning.

Just wanna have something to eat before swimming in the beach. We are lucky enough to find this place with excellent fish dishes. The fish with vegetables is served with delicious fish soup. The vegetables tastes very nice with the fish soup. Grilled fish steak is also a scrumptious dish with solid and fresh fish meat. Service is nice but a bit slow. However, it’s fine as we are enjoying our holidays. Overall worth to try.

I am staying for a longer period and I already know that this will be my favorite restaurant. I was impressed by the food and I am very picky and critical on food. It was the best, most fresh and well prepared fish I had eaten maybe ever and for a price that is locally normal, but exceptionally low compared to European standards.

The microwave is the only thing working in this kitchen. If you’re looking for a fresh taste of Cabo Verde, keep walking. Our meat and fish dishes arrived dry, tasteless, and suspiciously fast—because they were precooked and zapped in a microwave. It takes talent to make fish that dry. One star is being generous.
