Got robbed in this place, I had my fanny bag on me and they manage to open it and get my wallet and keys of the house. The bar tender was trying to be extremely nice with us up to that point. While we asked help he turned his back. Same with the police. We went to the police that was inside the place and asked them for help, they turned their back at us. A pity as the place could be really nice.

A heads-up for anyone planning a night at Funana: please be very careful with your valuables. The place gets packed, and we felt a real risk of pickpocketing. On another note, I'd advise against ordering the cocktails. Our caipirinhas had a strange, chemical taste, and unfortunately, they made some members of our group sick. It's a real shame because the vibe and music are fantastic, but these issues were too significant to overlook
