We stayed with Marco for 4 nights and really loved our time here. Marco Was very helpful at all times, the breakfast was very nice and the location of the place is perfect if you want to hike. We spend all days hiking the surrounding and Marco was also helpful giving us advise there. Really recommend the place - really worth it and also very affordable:) thank you Marco!

Lovely family-run facility perfectly located at the entrance to Nova Sintra. I was there in early October 2024(end of rainy season) and was offered a free upgrade of my room because a suite was available. All rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with solid beds, functional bathrooms, and strong Wi-Fi. Breakfast is complete with local ingredients such as cheese, jam, cakes, and the best coffee I have ever had in Cape Verde. Marco is very professional and respectful, ready to help you make the most of your stay in Brava, giving you valuable advice on hiking routes, restaurants, and anything else. If you have any problems, he will do his best to help you find a solution. Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent 10 days at this interesting accommodation in January 2025. We found that the accommodations were quite adequate and in an ideal location to explore the fascinating island of Brava. I note that a recent review of this accommodation seems to employ unreasonable standards. This is a semi wilderness setting in an African country, so it is unlikely to be maintained to a certain type of Teutonic standard.

It was great experience! Marco is really helpful, he even created "tours" to go to a market, shop, ATM on an app for hiking. The breakfast was also really good. We'll definitely come back!

The hotel is perfect for visiting Brava. Excellent view on the one side of the Island. We had the suite room which is very generous for space. Breakfast is filling and even includes local goats cheese and cake as well as banana from nearby Fogo. Marco is a bank of knowledge about the Island and lovely to converse with. Price was very attractive. Bear in mind this is an island with limited water supply and connection. Conversations in Portuguese and stay was in December 2019.
