I would like to share my experience with this hotel, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for a specific reason—what appears to be a lack of commitment to customer experience and assistance. I must commend the professionalism and kindness of the receptionists at both Santa Maria and Deluxe. However, I encountered challenges with the hotel's management, which I found to be unprofessional. I had initially planned to stay for two nights before a scheduled trip. Unfortunately, my travel plans changed within the first day, and I realized I couldn't stay the second night. I approached the hotel management and politely explained my situation, requesting a refund (second night). Regrettably, I was informed that there is a no-refund policy, and there seemed to be no willingness to assist me. I'm uncertain if this experience had any relation to my status as a local immigrant, as I felt a lack of respect in their approach. It is my belief that, had the situation involved a Portuguese guest, a resolution might have been found and readily. I travel extensively to Cape Verde and other countries, and I have had the opportunity to stay at various hotels. I can confidently assert that there are many other hotels in Praia with superior management and a more favorable customer experience. This was my first experience with this hotel, and I am hesitant to consider future stays. I hope this feedback contributes to improving customer relations and experiences.

Stayed for several nights. The rooms are clean, modern, and have good wifi. Service was excellent- the staff is professional, accommodating and offer a high level of hospitality (at both Delux ApartHotel and their sister accommodation Hotel Santa Maria). The location is perfect! Just 2 blocks from the pedestrianized street on Plateau where you will find excellent restaurants and live music (Kaza Katxupa was one of our favorite restaurants), and just down the street from Cafe Sophia, also with exceptionally good live music and food. We had breakfast included at Hotel Santa Maria which is less than a 5-minute walk away.

Very nice, modern rooms, 24 hours reception at the entrance. Only minus - when i was there for one night, there was no hot water.

I want to ALERT anyone, especially WOMEN, traveling alone. One of the night receptionists tried to FORCEfully kiss me when he escorted me to my room. I quote, "I can't help myself." I spoke the next day with an absolutely lovely manager who took the time to listen to me and will surely do what's necessary. I still want to warn you; it was a very shocking experience for me, and I couldn't sleep all night. However, the hotel is very good; I have no complaints. Clean, functional, air-conditioned, and the beds are comfortable.

The price was disappointing. They offered a low price, but then the tourist tax (higher than the stated price, 275 escudos per person) was added, and we had to share a bathroom. The room lock didn't work, so we had to be escorted out constantly. The shower gel container was empty and remained empty even after we reported it. The TV reception was poor.
