Feb 26: No change here. I highly recommend - for service, location and value for money. However, when they are busy it can be like this: 1455 Sit down at a table that needs clearing. 1510 Plates cleared, but glasses left 1515 Wipe your own table 1520 fail to attract attention, got own menu 1530 waiter came, ordered 1540 waiter came again, we reminded him we'd ordered. 1550 order arrived. If its so busy here that you feel lucky to have got a table, beware...the above could happen! This year: Still as good and well priced. Two beers, two wines, two cocktails and two toasties for 5000 cve/£37! Last year: Very good beach bar! Good for lunch and brunch, cocktails and all drinks. The views are hard to beat. you can slip into the nearby infinity pool or step into the sea just a few metres in front of you. I'm pretty sure I'll be here everyday this week!

Me and My Wife were in Santa Maria, Sal, Cape Verde on holiday from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We were staying in a lovely Airbnb nearby and stumbled across on Damfjord by accident on our our way back to our Airbnb from the beach ⛱️. We drank and ate here lunch here several times during our Two week stay in Santa Maria, Sal, Cape Verde, Africa and we were really impressed beautiful setting, Polite and Friendly staff, Super chilled and laid back atmosphere and we tried several drinks including cocktails 🍸, Beers 🍻, Wine 🍷 etc. Fantastic service, Bar snacks, extensive drinks menu, Beautiful setting, Great staff etc. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 32,000,000+ views on Google alone. I have reviewed everything from Restaurants to bars to beaches to beach clubs to taxis to airports to flights to beauty treatments to Barbers to hotels to Churches to Basilica to shooting ranges to hair dressers etc. From Manchester to Split(Croatia), Hvar(Croatia), Supetar(Brac, Croatia),Rome(Italy), Vatican(Italy), Bezier Cap d'Agde(South of France), Montpellier(South of France), Podgorica(Montenegro), Budva(Montenegro), Tirana(Albania), Sarande(Albania), Ksamil(Albania), Krakow(Poland), Zakopane(Poland) and Sal(Cape Verde. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆

We had drinks and a salad while enjoying the sunset. Salad was OK, but the drinks were pretty bad. Best service in Cape Verde so far though.

Lovely place with live music and local dancers . Right by the sea so ideal if you get a good sunset . Had two good measure premium gin and tonics . Then nice walk along the beach back to the Main Street to get taxi back to riu Palace hotel . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
