Went to Boa Vista with a group of 5 , beeing good Duotone / ion customers we went full of trust to the Club . Well ....Day one , all ok , manager is not here , i wanted information concerning prices for locker and if required, price of assistance and price of just renting a surf board plus if they where organizing trips to other parts of the island . The guys said dont worry go kitting if assistance is needed we will come and for the locker , leave your stuff , manager will be here tomorrow. Great , we kite ( without assistance required ) and leave stuff in locker. Next day we arrive at 9.30 some people tell us its opening at 10, ok we wait ( locker access impossible ) , some staff people arrive at 10.00 but they dont have the keys , manager will arrive , ( kite gear still in lockers) ok no stress..manager arrives at 10.30 , we have access to the locker and manage a quick talk to manager who says "go kitting we will discuss all this later" seemed buzy. A girl friend with us starts to make herself ready to go kitting and 2 guys of the club decide to help her for launch , i am behind her and for safety i go byside...The girl is kitting since over 10 years. The lines where crossed , she starts to uncross but the guy from the center decided on its own to lunch the kite . She made a 5meter and 1 meter high fly over the place i was 2 minutes before and she get injured , nothing to drive her to hospital but enough that the whole kite holiday was dead for her . I saw all what happen , the guys tried to find shit excuses and even tried to have her responsible for their shit , the rule is simple = NO KITE LAUNCH IF KITTER DOESNT SAY IT !!!! No manager at the end of the day, no way to have excuses , no way to have information on pricing , we took our stuff and left the center . She couldnt kite during the week so that we had someone on the beach to make pics. We managed not to go back to this "un"Pro ion center and didnt need any assistance as we went to side/ on spots ( Nice Punta Antonia , Praia Canto, chavez , Porto Ferreira ) instead of the this off shore Ion/Duotone center spot .And yes, sorry, 100%sure it was your center :

Location of the school is just mindblowing, it's perfect for kitesurfers of all levels and also for a lazy beach day with cocktails from the next door bar/restaurant :) the team is super welcoming & supportive, thank you very much for motivating me to keep kiting!

Pristine water, crispy new 2024 kites and a great ambience with good vibes makes this place great to share a session with friends or learn how to kite with one of their instructors! Did enjoy it!
