It was a truly fascinating stay! I never expected that in such a place I would spend a night like this — in a beautiful cabin with a breathtaking view of the volcano. An additional and very pleasant surprise was the rooftop area with a hammock, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The garden, carefully arranged by the owner, is filled with a variety of cacti and succulents and surrounds a charming gazebo where morning coffee tasted absolutely perfect. Another wonderful surprise was the healthy food prepared with local products — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The overall atmosphere was enhanced by gentle music playing from the speakers, creating a sense of peace and deep relaxation. This place truly allows you to slow down, disconnect, and feel calm. A very special experience that I will remember for a long time.

Amazing location in the middle of the caldera. I highly recommend booking a private bungalow with rooftop balcony. The best part is to relax on the rooftop of the balcony and enjoy the great mountain view of the Pico do Fogo. They also offer guided tours via ferrata, Pico do Fogo and more. Just ask them in advance since you can't find the tours online. Food is also very tasty and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Casa Marisa 2.0 is a wonderful place to stay on the island of Fogo — the perfect base for exploring & hiking around the volcano. The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful, and the food is delicious. During our flight to the island of Fogo, our luggage did not arrive with us. However, thanks to the generous help of the owner Mustafa, we were still able to climb the Fogo the next day. A heartfelt thank you! Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island of Fogo!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely incredible, offering grand, unobstructed views of the volcano The food was consistently good, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. Overall, a great stay in a stunning setting. Highly recommended.

Just ate in the restaurant. Nice local food. Stunning setting in the volcano crater. Interesting looking chalets form the actual hotel.
