Casa Evora totally gets a five star and for its location, Maio Island it just offers a lot. The rooms are beautiful 😍. Beach view from here is amazing and it is possible to walk back and fort there. Restaurants are nearby and Casa Evora is also central to the city of Maio where everything else is accessible.

I am staying at my wifes place in Villa do Maio and often pass this beautiful guesthouse, splendid view and location. The guesthouse deserves more guests however. Its my observation that Cabo Verde people are not made for hospitality industry. Tourism leans heavily on foreign entrepreneurs. Hardly tourists on Maio, its not lively, only sun,sand and beach. Population has no language skills, Cabo Verde kitchen means katchupa. Newspaper never heard of. Its a pity.

The place is very nice but the room was not clean. There was dust everywhere, even when we turned on the fan there was dust falling down. The breakfast was very expensive compared to other places in the island, and very small portions

Very nice accommodation in Maio with beach view. Rooms are largely wooden decorated and breakfast is a must!
