This guesthouse is a beautiful and special place in the center of Mindelo at good value for money. It was designed by a Berlin-based architect and is super well thought-through by the owner and architect - from air circulation to the sourcing of materials. The breakfast is really fresh and comes with a great variety of home-made ingredients. Juliette is a very passionate, energetic host, who shares great recommendations and insights into Cabo Verde life. The pictures were taken from a beautiful terrace with great views and a nice chill-out area. Thanks a lot for a great time and experience!

I have one word to describe how good our stay at Casa d' Poço was. Special. From the first step inside the Guest House to the last moment turning the corner of the street where this magnificent space is located, I'll be honest, we've never felt so special after our families. The hostess insists on that. In addition to knowing the history of Cape Verde, he knows every corner of every island like his own suitcase (her own words). She made us feel like we had been there several times. Impressive. On the other hand, in addition to the space (Casa d' Poço) being meticulously well decorated, everything, everything has a story. It's as if we were inside a modern museum with local photographs of Cape Verde where people and their cultures are rooted in the walls of the Guest House. You'll understand when you're there. I strongly recommend anyone going to Mindelo to stay at Casa d' Poço. 🙏

Casa de Poço is a gem in Mindelo, from the beautifully designed facilities and stunning rooftop views to the delicious food. Julie and her lovely staff made me feel right at home throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

- Central location - Friendly people - Nice setting - Spacious room (a bit dark), tastefully decorated, good beds - Healthy and delicate breakfast For improvement: too hot in the room for us; we couldn’t get it cool even with both doors (front and terrace) open – no airco

Be on vacation and feel at home. It's a great Location and guest house with a lovely owner, Julie. She provide great service and her team is very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen also serve delicious food. We had a great time. Check it out!
