I recommend this hotel because Adriano was very fast in communications. Unfortunately I couldn't reach the place because my flight had problems and he waited a long to take us at the airport, but then accepted the free cancellation of reservation. Hope to come to Fogo in the future!

We stayed here 2 nights. They have a good price for the room, it is not too expensive or cheap. The quality of the service was good so it worth it. The house was clean and they offer a good service. The only thing we didn't like was that we spoke with the owner to make an arrangement with the breakfast and he accepted to make it. Due to that we decided to eat there. We were really disappointed because as I explained before, we spoke with the owner to change the included breakfast with the lunch and he said that it was possible to make it. If he didn't like the idea, he just had to say it and we wouldn't eat there. We didn't find it out till we had to pay (to his wife because he wasn't there). It was the most expensive food in the whole trip. We know that this place has to bring some things from Sao Felipe, but all that we ate was produced there (in the volcano area) by the owner and village people. The price is extremely high, 800 per person when 350 per person is the normal price that you pay in cape verd for a menu that includes meat, rice, beans, dessert, etc. It was pretty abusive because we ate just rice, beans and some vegetables and we had to pay full, like if we were having a conventional menu. The food was good and flavor full but way TO EXPENSIVE. Plus, as I said before we spoke with him and he apparently "forgot" and "was not there" at the moment.

Everything was great : spotless rooms, airport transfer, guided tours around the Caldeira, breakfast, and dinner cooked by the family was superb. I especially loved the friendliness of the whole family and their warm welcoming. It made our 2 nights there so comforting. Thank you :)

Adriana and Filomena are wonderful hosts. We felt very comfortable and were treated to delicious lunches and dinners. The hike up the volcano in the morning was strenuous, but well worth it! A family-run business that we highly recommend. Thank you!

I can highly recommend this accommodation and especially the hosts. Very friendly staff and fantastic guides. The food was simple but extremely delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable. Anyone in the area absolutely must climb the volcano with Adriano for sunrise; it's simply unforgettable.
