We even queued about 20 minutes before opening — and now we understand why! 🤍 The seafood rice portion is absolutely massive — easily enough for two people, even three. Honestly, all the portions here are incredibly generous. The beef was delicious and huge, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The prawns were amazing, and the dish of the day was another giant plate — almost impossible for one person to finish! The salads were fresh and very tasty. The house wine was slightly sour, but with the fish it was just perfect. Such a satisfying experience, amazing portions, and definitely worth the wait. We will absolutely come back!

With our family, we went to dinner at this restaurant several times. The fish of the day, grilled octopus, lobster, cachupa, grilled tuna, shrimp, and carpaccio – everything was excellent. The service was very good and friendly. If you want to get a table, you should be there at opening time, as the restaurant fills up quickly and you may have to wait for a free table. If we are ever here again, we will definitely come back.

We were recommended this place by our guest house host. We arrived early and managed to secure a table straight away. It got very busy with large queues waiting for tables. We had fish stew (enough for two) and seafood pasta. Both dishes were good. Our standout dish was goats cheese and papaya jam for dessert. If you go here, don't miss out on this, it was delicious.

Best restaurant in Santa Maria. We ate breakfast and dinner here every day during our 1 week stay in Sal. Fair prices, big and tasty meals and friendly staff. The queue outside tells you everything you need to know about this place

Great experience! Food was amazing, people were great. Be prepared, that you will probably stay in a line, we waited for 30 minutes. We ordered griled octopus, calamari capo verdian style, sea food rice (its big and inludes even part of lobster) big bottle of water and gin and tonic. The price was 71€ for everything. Really great food and service. I would definitely recommend and go back again!
