That was one great discovery! One of the best food we've tasted while vacation. All what was written B4 recommending this place was so true. When they serve you the food you got to think " is that it?" Also when you see the menu tt is not that spacious as at all those fancy restaurants you get little bit puzzled. But than when the food arrives and you try it... Oh boy. It is a feast. Brilliant! Go there and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back once at the island again.

The food is very good and the atmosphere is quite pleasant, even though the location is a bit less central. However, the kitchen service is extremely slow, and unfortunately this affects the whole experience. Even with friendly staff and quality dishes, the long waiting times make the meal far less enjoyable than it could be.

Absolutely delicious food at Ca’Ju! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The tapas style is perfect if you like sharing and tasting a bit of everything. A must-visit if you’re on the island — don’t miss it!

20 minutes to get our entrees (hummus and a chopped salad) and over an hour to get our mains… which included “chicken satay” which was four pieces of chicken in two skewers. Didn’t have a few items on the menu, but worst of all: Ordered a bottle of water which came frozen and did not defrost during dinner, they didn’t have any more water so we sat there, parched, waiting for our food, which was so small we ate in literally 30 seconds. Other people waited longer than us. On top of this, the low lights and mellow music made us forget our hunger and almost fall asleep at the table. 45€ + 2.5% for paying with card. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Disappointing, obviously overpriced for ridiculous portions and painfully slow service. Been in Cabo Verde two weeks never had such experience.

The food was ok but the service was not. For our second order the waiter came back twice, still got it wrong and forgot our drinks. One of the workers seemed to have family over including a local boyfriend which whiseled at my girlfriend and touched the worker + some kids inappropriatly. There are better options than this restaurant. We had arrancini the size of my fist, filled with rice and cheap cheese. Consider something else i'd say.
