Have traveled to 42 countries, never seen a hotel where a room wasn't ready for a 9pm check-in. I had two different rooms assigned during my stay and the first one got totally flooded due to a drain blockage and the second one had a weird smell, and a faulty AC with the wing being stuck. Also, with such problems it would have been great to have staff who spoke English as it difficult to get these issues resolved. Also breakfast is at the restaurant across the road with limited options But it is at a great Location + Called me a last minute taxi at 1am

The hotel confirmed my booking, but upon arrival at 4am, I discovered that no room was actually available. The hotel staff admitted that all rooms were fully booked, despite the confirmation I received from Booking.com. This situation caused me inconvenience, stress, and a significant waste of time. I consider this to be a dishonest practice and a violation of the trust and reliability expected from this property

Excellent location for a stopover in Praia. Spotless rooms. A little noisy in the evening being right near restaurants music. Breakfast across the way was a little limited and slow.

Rooms are comfortable but the first floor is Super Noisy especially when they’re cleaning in the room or the restaurant in front of the building plays music all day long …

This is a wonderful Boutique Hotel in the best location! Walkable to everything! The rooms and common areas of the hotel are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located on the designated pedestrian street of Praia and the breakfast restaurant offers wonderful sidewalk dining. While true that most windows face an inside courtyard, the building has a unique historical charm. Note that 2 rooms have external windows available upon request. I only gave 4 stars because the wifi was unreliable In the room, but better in the common areas. Also, there is no coffee service available at the hotel and breakfast service at the restaurant isn't open until 8am. Otherwise, definitely worth considering when coming to Praia.
